2021 Canard Vineyard, Zinfandel
Atlas Peak, California

The 2021 Estate Zinfandel is definitely “old school” Napa Valley Zin.  Sourced from an historic, dry farmed, 100 year old block,  It exudes timeless elegance that can only be found in a unique “Italian field blend”.  The result is a sophisticated Zinfandel that beautifully marries Old-World charm with Napa Valley’s distinctive character.  This dry farmed Zinfandel vineyard, established over a century ago, is a testament to Napa Valley’s rich winemaking history. It was saved from being pulled out in the 1980s by two calls from Robert Mondavi and Joseph Phelps, two pioneers who recognized the vineyard’s potential and historical value. Their commitment ensured that the “old vines” continued to produce their exceptional fruit, which is now the backbone of this distinguished Zinfandel.

2023 Jayson ‘The Bench’ Cabernet Atlas Peak, Napa Valley

“The 2023 Jayson “The Bench” Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the quintessential character of Atlas Peak mountain fruit. Intense aromas of blackberry and boysenberry are underscored by subtle notes of white pepper. On the palate, plush layers of concentrated dark fruit complemented by elegant cocoa-chocolate tannins unfold with each sip. The balanced 2023 vintage brings remarkable focus and detail to the fruit, while the subtle impact of French oak imparts an opulent lingering sweetness.” – Winemaker Katie Vogt
